A new Panther Group in Tampa Bay, having a picnic and meeting

One of your SSM Members suggested I post this here. I had posted it in the Lounge also.

I am not a Marauder owner but I have enjoyed myself here on MM.net and am a part of a new club which has been started in Pinellas County which is the western part of Tampa Bay. The newfound 'Tampa Bay Vics' are a Crown Vic based Club, but all Panther owners are invited to participate/join.

We are having our second meeting and a Family Picnic get together on Sunday April 1st from Noon to 4PM at Walsingham Park at Shelter #5. It is an extremely nice park with large shelters. If you are going to come we ask you bring your own food and drink plus a dish to share. Plates, utensils and charcoal will be provided. No alcohol is allowed in the Park.

We have started a Yahoo! Group also so please take a look (link below). If you join up at a meeting we can then give you access to the Group. As a club we want to do car stuff and socialize in various ways. Please come be a part of it.

It's just that time of the year. The traffic is abominable out there and I hate to do it. I'll see ya's at the picnic. I hope Kailuaz is out there too (If he's not working that afternoon). I also spoke with DJV. I think they're gonna make it - dry park and all! ;)

Just an update - I'll probably not be there until ~ 12:30. Grandpa comes to our house on Sunday after church and stays until about noon. I will leave promptly after he does. See you then.

Wow, what a great time. It was a pleasure to get to meet Jake, Dave and Dennis and families. All the cars were great, tho I do want to see Jakes Marauder. I look forward to meeting all of you and hopefully more next time!

Even tho I only live a couple of miles away, it was my first time at that park. I do like the suggestion that was offered of having a get together at the Sunshine Skyway pier. That would make for some great pics. Also make it a bit easier for some other folks to come maybe too.

Man, I guess I have to check back here more often, maybe next one! I've been busy with the 70 GMC and have kinda put off the Vic. That would give me a good excuse to wash the darn thing also :D

I have been slammed with work and school and haven't been on since 6 March! Have finals next week, then 3 weeks off before summer session starts. Woul dlove to get together with Panther fans locally. Need to show off the mods I've done since the last meet. Please let me know when you al lplan to get together again.
