All of the dealers I approached refused to do gears. Have a speed shop do it. It will be done right, and it will cost you much less.

Speed shop... axle/trans shop/ ask around your area.
Heck... cruise around with your PA cranked and ask the people on the street who they'd recommend!
Dont forget that you will need to retune when you change gears!

its not to hard. Took me just over an hour mostly becouse I got the axle bearing relocaters do to premature wear from the bearings on the axles. I see you are from chicago, I bet zack maybe interested in making a little $ on the side. If not he may know somewhere. I live in the quadcities so it would be a little drive and would have to cool for quite awhile. Best of luck.

Axle bearing relocators are just going to wear the axle out fast in a new location, your axle shafts need to be replaced, they were not hardened properly. The proper application for an axle bearing relocator is for a really high mileage axle that you would have expected to wear out anyway, that you are trying to salvage some more miles out of.

Look for one of the many garages that specialise in Mustangs and they should be able to help you out.
My dealer offered to do mine, but for $300 more than I paid.
