So I took my first long trip with my new PI 3500 converter and 4.10's. I have had them for about four months, but most of my driving is around town, where my MPG basically blows...15 MPG. I averaged 21.5 MPG for a 600 mile trip from San Diego to Vegas and back. This was spinning 75-80 MPH most of the way. I was hoping for 17-18 at best and was pleasantly surprised. It would've been a cheap trip except gas is $3.70 for premium along that stretch of I-15.
I just got back from the Kentucky meet and got 19.4 MPG with the GM and 4.10 gears. Not that bad.

John, for the sake of clarity, folks should know that you have a MM 4V motor in your GM. If you had the 2V motor, I bet your mileage with 4.10s wouldn't be quite as good.

Last Friday on my ride home from Atlanta after getting my grand exhaust work completed I got 23.4mpg at 8-9miles over the speed limit.... I did hit 100+ a few times when some cars wanted to play :D . With the stock exhaust in place I could only get 19.x mpg traveling the same distance and conditions.
