As much fun as they come, this is cool. I watched this ere Ford and Marader being sold at Barrett Jackson and the price looks good. Wish I could afford it!

Nice ride, but 90K is a bit much. No bids to date and IMO it will be a No Sale.

Very, very nice...there is a similar one already in existence, on the show "Wrecks to Riches" they recreated Parnelli Jones' '64 Marauder NASCAR ride. Even got Jones to look it over for authenticity and autograph it...sold at auction but I don't remember how much for.

Still damn cool though, both of them!

Yeah, I saw that one too. Neat car. I'm thinking it sold somewhere in the mid to upper $30's.

Someplace is the original that I bet can be bought for less than that nice replica. I saw one of Bill Elliots 87 Melling T-Birds on ebay for 30k once.

The TV show PJ replica went for 34,000. This on is equally as nice and with the 427 instead of a 460 they put in the Wrecks to Riches car.

Guys, that 410 HP is very misleading...it could very well be a beautiful lie!

I own 2 of these cars, and did drive one of them some...OK! we thrashed the hell out of it one day (!) before it was disassembled for restoration, I am here to testify that when your butt is strapped down in the seat, and you row that shifter from second to third, and the perifieral vison is blurred by the tears that the wind screams into your eyes, and the force of acceleration fatigues the muscles in your stomach and arms as you row that 427 back into 4th and just absolutly scream to 140mph...in a car built on 1964 technology!

I can not begin to describe the differance in that feeling in comparison to a modern Trilogy blown Marauder.

Now imagine all that plus trading paint with another car at 100mph, knowing that the vehicles weigh in the 3500 pound range!

I am building my 1963 with a 410 solid lifter Merc moter, but the 1964 Sport Pac Parklane Marauder is getting one of my 460 engines.
Some of the local Lone Star guys have been to my shop, and they have seen the cars I have stashed away. They will tell you that I just have to build one more Cougar before I start...

I love these old cars!:coolman:

I agree with the above:agree:
The younger generation does not understand brute power (TORQUE!!!) that the older muscle cars had. I miss the feel of the torque from my 340 Dart GT that I had to sell a couple years ago. Horsepower is nice, but torque you feel in your A$$. :burn:
