What exactly is an OASIS check?

Hello Everyone.....

What exactly is an OASIS check? What exactly does it check above and beyond a Carfax? I looked at other forums but couldn't find a general answer to my question.

OASIS shows:
Build + Warranty start dates
Branded title status (if applicable)
warning messages (ex: no engine warranty coverage)
open recalls and/or programs (if any)
Ford extended, maintenance, and/or billing policies
warranty repair history (repairs billed through Ford are shown here, too).
