Anyone know the proper wheel torque specs for the MM? Just painted the calipers and need to put the wheels back on

I've always used 80 on Aluminum wheels. Retorque after 10 miles or so...

Don't know if that's the official spec, but I haven't broken studs or lost any wheels in the last 20 odd years!!!

Is gudentight with or without an extension?

That's the same torque spec I use, but be carefull, anything over 140 could break the studs. Ask me how I know. :argue:

100 foot pounds and check the torque after 100 miles.

60 lbs first.
Then tighten to 95 - 100 lbs.

After 25 - 100 miles, check them again.
I always find at least ONE loose on each wheel.
Then check them EVERY 1,000 miles or so...

I hear that.

I carry my trusty CraftsMAN 1/2" drive torque wrench in the trunk for this reason. ;)

Set at 105 Ft.\Lb

Have yet to find one backed off after many miles of fun.

Make sure you re-set the torque wrench to 30lb for storage. These are calibrated devices....
