Bad news for those wanting to go on the 15th. If you aren't in an emergency vehicle, you're not going to be able to park anywhere near where we normally park. This is how it is with the shows at the XXX. You'll be lucky to park in the general area, unless there are spots along the main road. They do block the streets off. Just a heads up.

Also, please keep in mind that this is a charity event.

So those of us who are EVOOA Members does this apply to us too, John? :)

This is the exact text as it is written on the EVOOA event page. It appears as though there may be room for other types of vehicles, but the main focus of course is emergency vehicles. (To answer your question RC, an emergency vehicle is one currently in-service, retired, restored, or even cloned police, fire, EMS vehicles.)

I ask because the Marauder is used as a Police vehicle by some agencies, and not all CVPIs have been in service.
Just curious as to how 'picky' the organisation is.

True, and it should be a good turnout and a good show to attend. I had a CVPI that was never in service, and my next one will also have never been in service. I think the show was left open-ended due to the fact that they want to promote solidarity between different car clubs, but also to do it for a great cause. That pretty much sealed it for me, being a burn victim myself. I hope that place is filled with cars and they raise a good amount for the foundation.

So, who all is going to this thing? Any of the MM crowd? I was going to suggest meeting at the Krispy Kreme at 7AM on Sunday morning for anyone that wants to come from the South End. Any takers?

All, being the weather is cruddy, and that I am still recovering from the flu I caught earlier this week, I am pulling the plug. Hope y'all have a good time at the show! Catch ya on the next cycle.
