Anyone here know where our factory alarm fuse is located? I purchased a new motorcraft replacement battery and my alarm goes off as soon as the battery is connected. No luck w/ my remote shutting off the alarm.

Any help here is appreciated.

The Marauder DOES NOT have a factory alarm. The alarm you speak of - is it a horn honk or siren sound? Did you buy the car used and maybe the previous owner had one in it?

My 03 MM, has a dealer installed "FORD" alarm system w/ siren. System III, I beleive. Also, it has a small red indicator light below steering column which allows you to put system in valet mode however as mentioned before, alarm starts blaring before I`m able to reset it.

Do you have the manual? I believe it has two fuses and they should be located under the dash somewhere close to the unit. I believe the fuses have to be installed in a particular order. I have a system 4 but it isn't installed yet. I'll see if I can locate the manual.

Have had in past where the key left in the "run" position then connected the battery has bypassed the alarm so you can disarm it next time....May not work but worth a try.

I bought my '04 Marauder in November of 03 and it came with an alarm. Are you saying the dealer installed it and it's not OEM? I ask because I had to have my engine overhauled and when I drove it home the red light next to my vent register was blinking constantly when it should be off while I'm driving. Also the alarm doesn't work even though the panic button does. Also I don't think it's the alarm fuse as that controls several functions and everything else seems to work fine.
