I'm looking for something that will fit the stock slot.
What do you want? Do you want a nice deck , Navigation or what. Check my forum here and you can see what the Nav. units look like in your car. PM me for prices. I have lots of products that will work in your car.

I'll also need to decide if you go single or double DIN.

Minor modification was required to make it work. There are two tabs in the hole (one on top, one on bottom), that prohibit the deck from sliding in. A little cutting and sanding, and you're good to go.

Kenwood Excelon KDC-X790. Awesome deck. Will keep this for a longggg time until I decide to go to a nav unit. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-bWZqyFHty7H/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?s=0&cc=01&g=300&tab=review&i=113KDCX790&pg=3&sortBy=3 Man, when I bought this, I paid about $450 for it.

i dont know about you but you might want something that will allow you to keep your steering wheel controls too. I know Pac makes universal controls but it can be a job to make them work unless you get a radio that has the connections for steering wheel interfaces, like i believe the kenwood and eclipse nav systems have.
I shoved an alpine IVA-W200 into my hole.
Same radio I have. I am pulling it out and putting in a Pioneer AVIC Z2 I just got from John.... (see his forum on this site)
I dont know how much work was required to make the W200 fit. But my installed didnt complain. So it must not have been enough to worry about.
OUCH

Actually I totally forgot to mention that I'm looking for something that is Sirius ready.

when I say i shoved it in there, I mean i shoved it in there. did some trimming in the back for the nest of wires. wasn't too bad though. it's a pretty clean install from the outside. had to cut and shave the trim ring to get it to go around the radio.

IIRC it doesn't matter if the radio says "Sirius Ready" or "XM Ready." If it has either, it supports satellite radio and you can use it.

Don't do it. The flip out face interferes witht he dash overhang and the angle SUCKS! get a D3 or Z2.

actually i have the avic-n3 with xm nav traffic and love it....the dash overhang is not a big deal...they just had to mount the unit a little further out of the dash then normal....you can't even tell...when it opens up its perfectly straight...in fact i like it better then the double din units because its actually closer to the driver so its easier to operate the touch screen...when i got mine i was also looking at the alpine unit but the alpine was twice the price!...the pioneer unit was the best bang for the buck in my opinion...navigation works great and xm is great too...you can even store your 12 favorite songs and when it comes on an xm channel the radio will alert you to see if you want to switch stations

I'll be installing my old Kenwood MP525 with my Sirus tuner and ipod controller this week. I won't have use of my steering wheel controls for a while, but thats what the remote is for. This will do until I can afford a AVIC-D3 and a PAC module.
