My father has been talking about gettin an Xcal2 for a while and finally ordered Lidio's new F-150 5.4l 3v tune last week and recieved it last night. We put it in this morning, and he was shocked! I'm extrememly happy for him. Ford really, reallllllly underpowered these poor trucks from the factory. Well, Lidio fixed that right up! Off the line now it roasts the tires with ease, from doing about 40mph, and you floor it, kicks back to 2nd (or 1st depending how fast you're already going) and the thing just comes to life. The tune really woke the truck up and gave it excellent mid range to top end power, which is what my father was looking for. From myself and from him, Thank you Lidio!

Yeah, I have a coworker that's said the same thing about the current F-150. It had a very conservative OEM setup and a tuner really does a lot for them.

It was really funny today though. When he was driving to work, he was like, "Doesn't feel much different." I said, "Press the gas pedal." In the background you could hear his tires spinning. I said that's the beauty of Lidio's tune. If you drive it moderately, it feels as if it was stock, which is a good thing for saving fuel consumption. But if you want to blow the doors off someone, Lidio's tune is right there. He put the SCT badge on his truck. I said now you ruined the sleeper effect! Although not a lot of people around here would know what SCT stands for, except the Ford guys.

He got a mid grade, which Lidio recommended 89, and of course he got a 93 which he's running right now. He got the mid grade since he has a freakin' 39 gallon tank and he'll be damned if he's filling it @ $2.89 a gallon he said for premium. The tune only covers the new style 5.4l 3v. I'm not sure if he has the 4.6l 3v tune. I don't think he does, but if you have one I'm sure you can see if he can create a tune for that.

He's a short video. It's not the greatest but you get the idea. You really feel the power from 40-100. I had to cut it off at 60 though. Right click save as please.

Yea, tell me about it. That truck is fully loaded believe it or not. My father is the 2nd owner of it and the original owner had it custom made. It's got leather bucket seats too. Sucks though, he's got the "7" lug rims.

93 is still $2.89 thankfully. Who knows how long it will stay that way though. Got to remember summer's coming up and people travel!

Your thankful the gas id 2.89? They got you used to the BS prices. See how they do it? Get you conditioned little by little to this price so $3.00+ aint so bad.

Did the oil refineries ever get repaired from Katrina? :bs:

Sorry for the rant.

Nice truck, though I am not surprised Lidio did such a good job. He is the Jedi Master ya'know...

I know it's all BS and it's nothing but greed, but I'm used to it, unfortunately. Thanks for all the comments.

you guys down south of us from canada have it good try 104 a liter for regular and 114 a liter for premium, multiply that by 4.5 and that we pay for gas up here, what a kick in the nuts when you see gas in south america for 4 cents a liter.
