What I should set the stock tires to for a run down the 1320 if the weather decides to quit being crappy this weekend? I have never tampered with tire pressure so is it worth it on the stock tires? Thanks.

Dom, when we ran The Blackbird at Dragway 42 in Cleveland, with stock tires, Zack told us to leave the fronts at 35 and lower the rears to 25 (IIRC).

Wonderful. Thanks Bob.

I have taken them down to 22. Start about 30 and keep going down a little at a time and check before each run. I do have the 45s set aside for you.

Its high up front--low in back--I'd try 40 in front for the OEM and 20-22- in the rear for OEM-----depends on the heat of the track and I assume you only burn them enough to rub off the scratch before you got to the light--- try that---something to consider anyway---Tom

Exactly. Fronts should hold even up to 42 psi safely. I've run down to 17 or 18 in the rears, seems to not help much after 20 -22 psi, IMHO. If you've got a stock Torque Converter, you should be able to launch up near it's stall. Try around 1600 to 1800 rpm's to start. If it sticks, go up, if not back down in 500 increments.

I leave my fronts at 35-36psi and with my new 255/55 kdw2 tires I dropped them down to 25psi and hooked right up. Was able to launch around 2200-2300rpms.
