What Can I Expect To Pay To Have This Exhaust Set Up Installed, Including Hangers ?

Flowmasters 50 Series
Wes's 3.5" Delete Tips ($150.00) Extended 2 Inches Longer.

I paid $40 at a local muffler shop to have tips installed. Mufflers shouldn't be much more than that either.

$200 bucks total max. The muffler will be shorter than stock and will need extenders. Tips shouldn't be over $50 with extensions added.

So total cost, parts & installation.

SS 50's flowmasters, pt# 842451

new custom hangers.

$500-600 is reasonable ?

Thats about double what it should cost.

If you go to a name brand shop expect to pay more. The discount shops are about 100 or less for a virgin install of mufflers, about 50 for the tips. Get the mufflers off the internet for the best prices.

$200-250 range. I paid $303 with tax from my local exhaust shop and that was include new over axle rear exhaust piping cause I had side pipes on and supplied the mufflers myself.

when i replaced my mercury muffler (http://www.flowpowerexhaust.com/muffler%7E%7Emercury%7Eflowmas ter.html), i paid around $ 200. i think prices really varies (depends on the muffler shop).

I had my mufflers installed for $60, and tips cost me $40 at Meineke.

My local shop said $150 to do tips and mufflers. I thought they were nuts. So I went home and did it myself in an hour. By the way I have a mig welder, no clamps here. So I would expect atleast $150

My muffler shop charged me $200 for Cherry bomb vortex mufflers installed with hangers and all including a lifetime warranty.
I went back a month later with my res-delete tips and he only charged me $25 to install them.
If you dont mind taking a trip to Long Island NY, check out American Muffler in Westbury. Hes the best exhaust shop around IMO
