paint peeling or flaking,any runs

HI everyone, silver o4 , had flaking paint on the rear bumper,is that common , I figured the guy i bought it from backed into something he says its common,Also there were a handful of runs on 3 out of the 4 wheel wells at the pinch seam, a Lincoln dealer at first said it had been wrecked yeah well I am persistent so my girlfriend and I went and inspected brand new town cars,merc grands, on there lot and one after the other had these runs, I then went to retrieve this service mgr. and the auto-body service writer and showed them ,needless to say they made a phone call and found that the runs are in fact oe like i thought.maby that's a relief for someone,but the bumper ???

The rear bumper was probably repainted. Once they get hit they peel and flake.

I have not seen any paint runs on any 2003/2004 Marauder - Black, Silver, or Blue - That I have detailed.

HI that comes as quite a surprise to me, MY question to you would be have you ever looked for runs in the paint on a MM , crown vics, town cars , grand marquise and if so did you look in the right place, thanks jeff
