That guy! I won't name him here, he'll have to raise his hand for this one. Notice how the tar ate up my wash mit and held onto some fibers...

I still some of Trilogy 2's spent rubber on my rear bumper cover.
But for future reference, what is the quickest, safest way to remove melted on rubber? Don't you just hate those late fall 1/4 mile runs or the opportunity to do a burn out video using your soon to be replaced tires?:burnout: Then the car is left in the garage for a long period of time due to inclement weather. Zaino didn't even allow that to just wash off. Was like a coating of black cement. Tar seems to wash off easier.

To remove tar from the area behind the wheels I use plain ole lighter fluid!!
You can use "Pre-Kleeno" which can be bought at most automotive paint stores. It is used to pre-wash wax off paint before sanding to re-paint.
These Naphtha products may work well for rubber debris too??

Before you get the melted rubber on the body coat those body sections with PAM (cooking oil in-a-can). Old drag racers trick.

....and if that doesn't work, you can have Pam take it off, if she will.
