Can you believe this, some idiot broke out the drivers door window, and stole......

Both my HEADLAMPS!!!

That's it, just the headlamps, broke my window, and busted the hood latch.

They did not take the radio, the tools in my trunk, or my pretty gauges.

This is the third time the car was broken into, all at the same park and ride lot. I don't normally park there, but today the traffic lights were out on Rt210 which my normal bus takes. So I took a different route today.

What a bummer. The window will be more of a pain an d expense to fix than the headlights.

Do a junk yard search.

I had to replace a side window, list $1,000.28. Best Auto Glass was $635.

Junk yard $185.

Why just headlights?

Just got back to the house, I got a check from State Farm for $1,087 this morning, got the window replaced, bought new light bulbs, a parking light socket and headlamp bulb retaining rings, replaced my old headlamps, got the car washed, vacuumed and steam cleaned.

Now I need to get the tint stripped off the other windows and have the headlamps aligned.

so far I've spent $400.

do you have an alarm? it might help turn away thieves, espcially with grand marquis, CV's, MM's, and cars of the like, those are all top targets in my area.

The first time it was broken into I had enough left over for the nitrous kit.

i don't ever drive my mm other than to meets and work. I even left my apartment complex to open the hood to check oil and other things. Sorry to hear that. what garage did you park in so we don't?

It was at a park and ride lot outside Waldorf.

That sucks to hear that man, granted you get some extra $$$ out of it but just having to deal with all of it isn't worth it.
