.. for the first time with the turbo. I did not want to break anything before my Sebring trip in a few days, so I ran street tires and eased her out of the hole.

The timer was broken on the first run and the car acted funny. So the second run I noticed I hit the limiter on the 2-3 shift at 85+ because my wheels spun so much. http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif

I dropped the air pressure to 25 psi on the street tires and made one more run.
I eased it out again (to a slow as molasses 2.35 60 foot http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/images/smilies/redface.gif ), no spinning on the 2-3 and turned a slow 13.01 at a trap speed of 112.xxx http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/images/smilies/eek.gif
There is a low 12 in there somewhere when I get the drag radials and 31 spline rear end in if I don't break it at Sebring. http://www.motorcitymarauders.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif

It was fun watching the look on folks faces as I eased out and they got a big lead and then I ran them down at the end.

Wait till you get somt traction!!!!!!!! Low 12s will not be a problem after seeing your 60 foot times. Great job with a lot more on the table and I am looking forward to the next report.

Glad you got to run it....

I look forward to hearing what you do once you get some traction and get used to when the power comes on....

1.60 60 foot times are attainable with our cars with a turbo kit like you have.

Congrats Jay! I can't wait to hear reports after you have it all together. Have a great time at Sebring and watch out for old fogies in dark red cars!
