Anyone on here got either set from reinhart? i am interested in upgrading my brakes, does the KVR set include everything and do i need to make any mods to put them on or do they just replace the stock ones? and what about the EBC set?

I have the KVR's with black "hats" and stainless, braided, lines... I am very very pleased with them because the mushy brake feeling disappeared. With the carbon fibre pads for them, I have very little brake dust to deal with come cleaning time...a very worthwhile upgrade IMHO from the KVR camp...

I have the EBC kit and also got the SS lines. The lines were put on a month later, so I can tell you that with only the brakes, I didn't feel any real difference. The lines definitely impove the pedal feel and I would recommend them.

Summarizing Todd from TCE, don't expect a big difference in stopping power unless you go bigger; from experience, that seems to be true. However, for a set for four rotors and pads, the price was about what the local garage would have charged to install just OEM front rotors & pads.

I choose the EBC kit because I run 16" snows and needed to maintain to stock size to fit within the rim. The EBC kit had no clearance issues this winter. Given a warm climate and extra funds, I would have went with the 13" from TCE, but they're much more and just the fronts.

does the KVR set need any mods to be put on, or do they just replace the stock no problem?

You can call me Dennis, and its spelled Reinhart, both kits are good EBC is far cheaper, KVR is a 14" two piece rotor with a PBR caliper it comes with all the n mounting hardware front and rear pads, rear rotors are optional, it does include SS lines. EBC is a one piece rotor and is a direct replacment for the OEM rotors comes as complete front and rear package with a speacial composite pads. EBC is about a three week wait and KVR is about six.
