All assistance is appreciated.

Get the stuff made from refried beans you will get more gas for your buck.

Anything between 100 and 112 is fine.
Even leaded is fine, so long as its about 10 gallons or less.
Id put 10 gallons in on a near empty tank, then add 5 degrees of timing, set the rev limiter to 7 grand and let her rip.

My "Street" Tune and my "Race" Tune are both done on 94 Octane. The "Street" workds GREAT on 93. The "RACE" has 2*'s added. I was thinking about adding another 2* (all I can w/ the XCAL2, I think). I would like to get ahold of some 110, but....not sure about VP's fuel choices.

Jegs DOES NOT carry ANY Race Fuel :(

Not sure if the Pumps are going to be on that day (Private Track Day).

It looks like I can get VP's C12:

One of the winningest fuels in racing history, including Modified Tour, GNN, D.I.R.T., Indy Lights, NHRA, AMA as well as other local and national championships across the U.S. and around the world. • Color: Green

What do y'all think. This stuff is $59 / 5 Gallons.

Price seems about right for nowadays. I just paid $8.00 per gallon for Sunoco 100 Unleaded at the track the other day. 2 degrees timing? I don't know if you need to go all the way up to 110.

Paul, I noticed you live in RI, not far from me. Which track did you go too? I know there's Epping up in NH, but I just wanted to make sure there wasn't a "secret" one around here I didn't know about lol.

When I'm home I go to Epping. Right now however, I'm working in Alabama, so I go to Huntsville Dragway. There's been rumors of a new one opening in Seakonk soon.

Ahh I see. Yes, I've heard about that too. That would be excellent if that opens up. Take 20 minutes to get there instead of an hour or two.

At almost $12/gallon I think you need to bend over:eek:

Perhaps get some baseline runs with the current mods before kicking things up a notch.

just my two cents.

My prediction:
You will spend too much on gas, then run too fast and be told to wear a helmet which you probably dont have, then spend the rest of your day beating the piss out of the car on the street (To take advantage of every molecule of race gas) then get pulled over for doing 30+ over, get your car impounded, spend the night in jail with Billy Bob (who you ultimately find attractive and run away with to a run down trailer on the side of a mountain in Kentucky somewhere, only to end up living back at Mom's with no Marauder, no Billy Bob, no Heather and a new Birth Certificate drawn up with your name not on it.
Yep, thats my prediction.

Interesting thoughts....

However....the club I am going with is doing the Tech ;)

They are being forgiving on SOME rules. Like DS Loops, Jackets and Helmets for mid-12's.

I'm good :D

IF you can try to avoid running leaded fuel. Just a few gallons is enough to murder your O2's. I've always just ran 100 octane unleaded sunco when going to the track in my stang.
