Anyone have to change out an outside mirror? My drivers side mirror was wiped out by flying debris on the freeway on the way in to work today.

New one ordered, complete unit for 71.50 from Parts Train.com incl. shipping and tax.

Stealership wanted about 180.00 and theirs needed paint! I see a special tool is needed to remove the retaining bolts, anyone have experience witrh this process?

Best,
Walela

I hope you have bettery luck with them on mirror than I did. I bought one and was surprised that the mirror removable trim that is painted body color on the OEM mirror was not able to be installed on thier mirror:eek: . It was a complete molded mirror and just smooth plastic where trim would go. Which I'm sure would just fade as it was only non coated plastic. Otherwise it would bolt up and work, but in my opinion look like sh:censor: t

However they did return my money. I ended up with an OEM. Check price at a couple other dealers, it does seem high. I do not remember what I paid (maybe about $120-$140??)
