I have an S/C w/ 82K miles. I drive it everyday, 20K per year, she is a traveling office. 180 runs down the 1,320'. 42K are S/C. Original engine& heads, never opened up. Burns no oil. This ain't no garage Queen.:) I do baby her on the street.;)

To prep for the SSHS6 big car shoot out in Atlanta 11-4-06.

Went to No Problem on 10-14-06. 68*/65%. ran 1.8/12.525/1.782/12.372/1.723/12.437/1.765/12.329/1.736/12.399.

Returned on 10-25 ran. 68*/ 60%1.773/12.63/1.749/12.48/1.719/12.431/1.754/12.48/1.789/12.389. R/T from .241 - .036. A Viper was running 12.2.

Returned on 10-29 for US Muscle Car Race. 70*/55%.1970 beautiful Charger w/ 6-71 Blower ran 12.02. I ran 1.72/12.333/1.716/12.30/1.744/12.431. R/T from .211 - .034.

SSHS6 TestNTune 38*/29% 1.946/12.676. R/T .121

SSHS6 51*/32% 60' from 1.69 to 2.314. Serious traction problems as reported by many running drag radials. 13.002 - 12.287.

Feb 7th No Problem 55*/50%.60' from 1.855 to 1.98 and 12.708 - 12.883.

Feb 14th No Problem 55*/45%.60' from 2.114 to 2.247. 13.205 to 13.295.
On the way out the track hit it from 25mph car fish tails and spins out, ditto on road by apt. I was tired of spinning out w/ Drag Radials. I had a 4 time National Champ observing my burn outs at SSHS6 and his tips helped but still could not get traction. One of my burn outs is in several vids. Car 007. The 1.69 60' I then spun out at the 200' mark.:mad2:

Purchased MT ET Streets. Return 4-27-07 No Problem 83*/65%. 60' 1.761/1.764/1.777 & 12.492/12.663/12.585. R/T .078/.246/.423.Easy to launch and minimal burnout. Due to high temps ran at 24PSI. Tracked straight. Being bias tended to track the road sway over 90mph.

I constantly get compliments. Midnite at a gas station 50 miles from No Problem a guy in a C-5 ask me about her, he races 2 other cars at No Problem. We talk for 1/2 hour.:D

Very pleased.:D :banana2:

Thanks to Merc and Dennis for the tire help.

Those are pretty consistent 60' ft times. 24 PSI is on the high side but adds to stability and control. What I find interesting is I set the tire pressure to 15 psi and only squeeze out 1.74 to 1.69. I am glad you are having fun with your investment. 82k and rolling is a good mark to follow. I am on my second motor with 38k on the clock.

As you pointed out you are at an elevation, which I am sure is affecting the 60'.We have had consistantly low humidity this year, rain fall 10" behind, but we had 3"-6" today in 2 hours!

I am pleased w/ the ease and as you pointed out the consistancy. W/ out having to concentrate on a major burn out I can now concentrate on the launch for a good R/T.

As you pointed out over 90 mph I do have to pay attention. At No Problem the rite lane sways to the right and at 90 so does the rear end. The left lane is flat and she tracks straight.

Others w/ bias ply concurred.

I has racing a Chevy CK P/U w/ a 364 and 500RWHP. Beat him 2 in a row. He ran a 1.828/12.914 to my 1.777/12.585 and his 1.844/13.005 to my 1.764/12.633. His car was like new. He was running M&H Drag Radials and was pleased w/ them.

I ran againest an Impala w/ Chip and gears, very clean car w/ low miles. He ran a 14.208 to my 12.492.

Consistant Billy. I didn't have very good luck with my new ET Streets. Track was terrible. Only two runs with them, a 1.9 (a lousy burnout) with a 11.8 and the second run a 1.8 good burnout with an 11.6. First run at 18 pounds, second at 16. I was not happy. 250 cars there for a test n tune. Friends said their 60 foots were off .02 for the night. Next time the tires are going to 14 pounds. But will have to wait until the fall. I will be ready this year for SSHS7.

I just got by from Maryland International Raceway with Sherman & Cris. I got my best 60ft times ever running 16 PSI

1.668-personal best.
1.741
1.704
1.691
1.702

Sorry MarauderTJA to hear your displeasure with you new ET streets. Sherman laid down a few 11.8's and one 11.7 before his transmission gave up.

Great 60 foots Merc:up: . Don't get me wrong, I know the ET Streets will work out. Just didn't the first evening (2 runs) I went to the track with them. I haven't given up on them at all. Just need some better track conditions. Great times for Sherman as well. Sorry to hear about the tranny. I am sure my tranny is not long for the car either. The Lentech is not far away I'm afarid. Probably by the end of the summer, although it has been fine driving it on the street. I won't be going to the track again until the fall.

Very impressive times.:banana2:

Those equate to a sub 12.0 run in the rite conditions.

Not really, I am out of Power past the eight. I need more boost or NOS to keep the 4-ton boat anchor rolling. Maybe hurricane force tail winds could get me in the high 11’s. I am looking into several options. I think I will start a motor build up in the winter

The Lentech is not far away I'm afarid.

I am watching your steps

In the Gulf we are expecting a busy Hurri season. Please send me your Time Slip numbers w/ those 60' and I will compare to mine w/ the elev adj.

Is a shot of Nitrous in the works?

I think the Art Carr / JMod Kit is good for up to 500hp.

When I ran 14psi in the Nitto's I put the fronts at 32psi.

The car was not very stable.

It's probably off topic, but is the Marauder considered a SVT production. I saw one listed on the SVT web site... it made me wonder.

Nope. SVT is strictly ford only and they never had any involvement mercury or the other brands...

I was thinking about running Nitrous if I could time delay 6 seconds after launch. That way I can conserve gas and have a better top end. I need to do my homework. What are your thoughts on the subject ?

I have the JMod and looking for a Tranny rebuild in November at Team Ford.
