So, my car is pretty much stock with 4.10 gears. . . if I wanted to go on the juice, what works with our cars? I have considered NEX and NOS. Does anyone have a preference, and if so. . . . why? I would also like to know about accessories such as purge valves, bottle warmers or anything else that would be needed.

I can't afford to supercharge my MM at this time, but hitting the bottle sounds pretty impressive and I would like to know what kit works for our cars. If I do this, I would like to do it right. I know some guys are getting some great RWHP with awesome torque, so any info will help.

The guys that have done it, please tell me if you are happy with what you did, or if you would have done something different.

Hack Goby just got on the bottle about a week or two ago. Maybe he can give us some feedback?

I think Killjoy had a kit for sale not long ago?

Yo, Paul!

John, you know you'll have to set up a "demo day" for us if you get nitrous done. :) I remember from reading around here somewhere that some kits have an electronic switch that only cuts in the nitrous when you go WOT. That sounded like an interesting idea to me, operating the system with the gas pedal.

John you mean Zex, not Nex ;). superford just put a wet kit on and had some impressive numbers, Hack Goby did, there were another few members that have them as well. If you go with Zex(the best IMO) they have a "general" V8 kit that superford used I believe. I have a Zex 82026 (LS1 kit) for my car that I have to install this summer. Wes (Innovative Interceptors)may be able to help you out with a kit too, as he sold me my kit.

You could ask Pat, He has a Zex kit and his son put it in for him....good looking installation. I was in the lane next to him when he used it so it puts down some torque....I saw his tires smoking all the way down the 1/4 mile! The track that day had some traction problems though......

John you mean Zex, not Nex ;).Yes, you are correct, I did mean to say Zex, but I think my fingers were intoxicated. Thanks for the correction and for the info. My local speed shop that does Mustangs recommended NOS, but I'm sure they will install either. I'm still in the research mode at this point and am learning as I go.
