Need some help on trying to figure some things with the shift mph and redline rpm. I currently have the 1-2 shift mph bumped up 2 mph and the redline backed down to 6100rpms. I did these changes when I last ran at the track back in March cause it seemed like I would peg off redline for a sec before it would shift which I know isn't a good thing so I made the changes and it seemed better but it still kind of does it.

Previous weekend a had a friend get some video of my car and you can kind of hear it when it does the 1-2 shift at the 47 sec mark.

Let me explain this for you...
In the SCT software, there are 2 parameters that control shifting.
One is a MPH value, another is an rpm value. The computer commands a shift based on whateer comes first. Stock, the 1-2 value is 6000 or 47mph I believe, so if you command it to shift at 49mph and 6000 rpms comes before 49mph, it will shift sooner that you want it to.

The rev limiter should be set between 6500 and 7000, i dont care if you say thats risky, no Marauder engine has ever blown up do to over revving.
Hope this helps.

I don't know chit about shifting, but I loved the video! Thanks! I needed that.

I am kind of bummed until a new tire comes in to replace the one that got screwed in the shoulder. Ugly black wheel donut driving SUCKS!

So just bump up the rpm by 1000 until it feels right?
