Hello all, I am about to service my 4r75w and figured now would be the time to make any mods to it.Is anyone doing any mods to the control body or are they just letting a tune change the way these shift.Just curious. Thanks for your time.

I used to have a stock trans, and it felt great on a N/A setup.
the car chirped second on command. That was with a Dennis Reinhart tune and a SCT tuner.

I have since upgraded to an Art Carr
and it feels great.

You could modify the valve body with the "J-Mod" if you wish also

to each his own...

DO the full J-Mod! ANd throw in a converter (if you can afford it). But you can firm it up with a tune but all that does is bump up line pressure for the faster shifts. With the J-mod done it does it without a tuner and doesnt work the pump anyharder. Plus you can still up the pressure more if you want. J-mod is free too. Just like a shift kit!
