Well, two weeks ago, Friday 4th, I took off the day and ran up to SGS Automotive (formerly Kaufmann's Motorsports) in Dillsburg, Pa.
They had DynoTuned my new engine combo on my way out to MVIII in Detroit. The engine had about 200 miles on it when they tuned it.
I wanted to get a final N/A number now that the engine has 4,000 miles on it and I will FINALLY be installing the Procharger.
It made 325 RWHP vs 317 RWHP and 335 RWTQ vs 340 RWTQ.
It was now running too lean, but I decided against any further tuning since this combo will be gone in 30 days.
I'll just keep her full of Sunoco GT100 unleaded for now.
It was a gorgeous day so on my way home, I took the scenic route to Baltimore and was traveling down Route 88 south of Hampstead, Md.
I had the opportunity to pass a rambunctious VW Beetle and he could not keep up with the Big Black sedan on the straightaways AND the twisties.
Next up was a dawdling Honda Hybrid that was ruining my spirited driving fun. Route 88 is a up and down, curving country road.
I hated to waste such a nice stretch of road so I waited until there was a legal passing section, then gave the Honda turd a full dose of the DOHC downshift!
Their windows were down and they were not pleased!:D
I noticed that as I approached the Falls Road intersection my Marauder had 9999 miles on the odometer!
I stopped at the intersection and as I stared at my odometer, a Honda Accord came down Falls road and passed by going really slowwwww.
(What else is new!)
Darn! I was now forced to follow him down Falls Road.
...NOT FOR LONG!
I immediately kicked her down and passed the dork in the Honda, as my odometer rolled over to 10,000 miles!
What a way to celebrate my mileage milestone!!! I couldn't have planned it any better!
This past Friday night I took the Marauder out for a cruise and ended up in Glen Burnie, Md.
It was a nice night with lots of cool cars out. Everyone had their windows down.
There also were lots of Ricer Retards running up and down Ritchie Hwy and I met two Hapless Hondas at a 3 lane wide traffic light.
I was in the far right lane and could hear the occupants of the Honda next to me talking to the Honda in the far left lane.
They were busting on me because of my gauges. (I've got 7 Autometer gauges; 4 of which are visible above the dash)
They were saying: "Look at this guy with all the gauges....(sarcastically) OH WOWWWWW!" "It looks like he means business."
OK Dorks! You need a DOSE OF DOHC! (I also needed to make sure that my excessive gauges were all functioning.:D )
The light turned green and the two turds took off as fast as they could.
I let them get a few car lengths out in front of me then hammered it!
The look on both driver's faces was priceless as the 'Big American Sedan with too many gauges' destroyed their lame Honda a$$es!
They attempted to beat me from the next light, then from a 20 mph roll, then from a 40 mph roll, then from a 50 mph roll.
OHHHH WHAT FUN!...:banana2:
Finally we stopped at another light and the quicker (relative term here) of the two Hondas, a brand new Civic Si with the almighty VTEC, pulled up next to me and said:
Now this is the absolute truth;
"You got me because I don't have my Nitrous hooked up."
"Besides, You have a V8!"
............ ......
bwwahhhhh hah hah hah hah hah hah hah!
I immediately pulled a U-turn to preclude the Hapless Hondas from pulling their standard "Loser's Fly-BY"
