Hello, I am wondering what type of fog lights would fit in the area underneath the license plate mount on the front of the car. See picture. I want to try to fit the lights in those 2 areas. What is the biggest and best to fit in those holes best. I want something big enough to fit the small rectangles on each side.http://www.mercurymarauder.net/showcase/showimage.php?i=8068&c=3&userid=7088

Go find a set of used '99-'04 'Stang GT foglight's as they are kind of odd looking and could be a good fit. http://www.mustangforums.com/timeline/2003-ford-mustang/images/2003-Mustang-GT.jpg

Exactly!

All you need are both bumper covers, rear police interceptor light assembly (painted), and youre set!!

2001 Ford Escape fogs maybe.....

Measure the size of the holes and we will hit the parking garages measuring lights....OR you could measure and then hit the local auto parts store to see if there is anything close to what you need.

I still vote GT's since they are more slender than the Escape's and he won't have to chop us his bumper too much.

Measure and shop.

There are many manufactures that make low-profile fogs to fit in narrow openings like you have.

At worst, buy the fog lamp you like best and fabricate a filler made of ABS for the fascia and bend up some back-strap for the rear support.

Question,
do you want it to look like a Marauder??
if you do they only way is with a bumper cover. if not you could try any lights. Only advise measure 3X's and cut once.

I do not mind the look of a marauder, but i dont want it to look too similar. I dont know what im trying to make it look like. But im liking the look so far, and its something between a marauder/gm/crown vic pi. Thanks for the info. Ill see what I can find.

If you want round foglight's, it's going to be a bit harder to fabricate a perfect a hole to slip them into. That's why I stated just go with the slim profile ones, that way you won't have to hack your bumper up as much. On my old '95 CV, I had my HID headlight's, and Sylvania Xenarc's. Not sure how many of you remember these, they didn't make them long since they wanted a ton of money for them. I found a website online that sold them for half the price and boy were they worth it. By far the best foglight's I've ever driven with. http://www.sylvania.com/ConsumerProducts/AutomotiveLighting/HighPerformance/Xenarc/xenarckits.htm
If you look though however, it was a very big casing to fit in the bumper, and I admit I didn't get them to fit too good. If I had to do it all over again, I would sacrifice a great kit for slenderness.
