These are not listed as usable for the MM, but I believe some folks here have these installed. Any clearance issues? Will the tweeter swivel as designed when installed in the front door? My other option might be Boston Acoustics S85. Anyone using these?

They fit just fine in my friend's 05 CV LX Sport. They sound really nice in there too, really crisp. They have built in bass-blockers though, so you have to have a working subwoofer.

No clearance issues what so ever..... I got these back around Christmas when Infiniti was running the buy one pair get one pair 1/2 price sale........

Listened to the Bostons' JBL's, and Polks for comparison.....

Like these best.. jmho though...This stuff is so subjective:coolman:

I had no propblems installing my Infinity's. Not as much "swivel" on the tweeters as I'd like but it's OK.

I have the Infinity 5752cf speakers in all four locations. My understanding is that these were superceded by the 6812cf. Mine sound great and they did swivel sufficiently to be useful. The only negative was that the mounting holes didn't line up well in the rear shelf, so I could only get 3 screws to hold, but it hasn't been a problem in the 4 years I've had them. It looks like the 6812 has more mounting holes/tabs so that may not be a concern anymore.

Thanks guys! It was last call on these so I grabbed two pair at a pretty good price.

Put the rears in yesterday and fronts today. Only minor problems with the fronts. Had to wrap the speaker wires to keep them out of the window path. Sound really nice, much more detailed than the OEMs. The bass is significantly tighter. For those on the fence Crutchfield just dropped these by another $20 per pair. Get em before their gone.

Boston Acoustics/MB Quart for me.
