How did you manage to convince them ?
They normally don't allow the vehicle model to be put on the plate.

Neat plate.

SC only has 7 characters, and I had a tough time getting something relating to a Marauder (I guess the others were taken) . Ended up with 03Raudr on mine.

if you go to the nys dmv web site you can actuall order plates online and see a mock up of the plate you are considering if the plate combination is availble. I have been checking for a while and MARAUDER was always unavailble. I called albany and they told me that the plate had been in use previously and that it would be rerelased in several months. after checking repeatedly I got a hold of a DMV employee that pushed it through and processed my request.

According to NYS DMV vanity plate lookup it was already taken. I was thinking of vanity plates three years ago when I bought the DTR and it was not available then or any other time since then. Congrats!
