19" Platinum Ogon (KOI)

This fish has been in my pond for nearly 7 years.
It was 6" when I bought it. It has grown at an amazing rate, and now has nearly a 12" girth.
The sex is unknown.
My pond, at 600 gallons can no longer comfortably support this awesome fish.
The value of this fish as I have come to learn is quite surprising. I am asking $400, and can genuinely say that he/she is healthy, active, and eats like a pig. However, I am unable to offer any type of warranty once moved. The last time I moved it was two years ago for a pond rebuild. It moved well into a temporary pool for several days with little or no shock.

I am sending pics to the Ohio Koi club for further validation.

He would be worth nearly $1200.

If it were a 'she', and the colors correct...upwards of $3400!

That's blower money there...

You may want to try the Bronx Zoo.
They have an awesome Koi Pond inside of the Butterfly Exposition.
The Koi there are HUGE also.

You may want to try aquabid.com.

I use it a lot to buy and sell aquarium plants.

Any news on the fish? Rich Long might like a keeper like that for Michelle's pond. We may have a meet up there next year. By then it will be all grown up and we can get out our pink shirts and have a fishing contest, Like Koi Masters. Dennis
