What size of Spare tire should I get.

I have a donut.

Should I just use a rear winter tire on a 16" steel?

My thinking is that the rear tires are the ones that need to be matched up to prevent transmission problems. Front tires mismatched should hurt anything for a drive while on a spare. Furthest I would drive would be 200 miles on a spare. Not something I want to do on a donut.
The donut spare has a 50 mile - 50 mph limit and that is stretching it considerably. Read below.

A 300A Spare is a full sized MM wheel, just painted(???). It came stock w/ a Front Left Tire mounted to it. ;)

I'm not sure you could get a full size with a rear tire in the space on the shelf.

What is wrong with the 18" space saver spare?

I am pretty sure that Defyant put his full sized spare up there and he created his own J-hook mod to secure it in place. Only problem was the spare cover was not sized to fit the full size wheel/tire and leaves part of the tire showing unless the cover is widened.

Then why was I able to post items in it just a few days ago, and why can I still access it?

Really, if it's "gone" then that shouldn't be.

Did he put a full size spare with front or rear tire up there?
Full siz with front tire will certainly fit. not so sure about the full size with a rear tire. If it does it will be a very tight squeeze
