He does say it's a conversion in the description. It looks it was a CVPI. You can see the 140 mph speedo. LX CVs and GMs have digital climate like the MM.

He does say
2004 MERCURY MARAUDER, conversion,It is misleading to call it a 2004 Mercury Marauder.
Seems like a waste of Marauder parts

x2, although the exterior's close.
Items on the interior give it away.
Wonder if he stuffed a DOHC under the hood?

Something tells me that there was a stolen/stripped Marauder used for this conversion. I emailed the seller for the VIN. I will post ALL the owner info and vehicle info ASAFP. It is a CVPI, the dimmer control, the A/C controls and the gauges give it away big time.

Something tells me that with the money he put into the paint, rims, and conversion, he could have gotten a real Marauder. I don't get understand the logic in this. What did he really save, $500.00? Between the exterior and interior. Someone is going to be disappointed when they mash the go pedal.

What is FUNNY, there are even pedal and traction buttons right there on the left. They cannot actually work. I bet that car had a hard life and probably creaks and rattles like a, umm.... a box of creaks and rattles.

Time for the newbies turn, and i did this by myself, ive had this window up for 3hrs and am now responding.
here we go
No EATC
No marauder guages
No tachometer
and there are largely obtrusive boxes in the rear that are definately not found in a marauder.

This car has stopped at the Tower Shops not to long ago. It Looks like a Marauder from up close and I spoke to the owners. It need's alot of work. Their was some crown vic parts on it .The wheels are too big and he had a hard time parking it. Their was quite a bit of body work done.Their was a few of us looking at it.

He even went to the trouble to get Mercury keys for it. With the money he wasted on it most of us could have built a 750+ HP MM.
