I showed these to a buddy at work today, (he owns an 80's SVO 'stang) he said he liked the rims. I said stay away from my car then. You could literally see the light bulb appear over his head, followed by him saying "dammit, those ARE Marauder rims aren't they?!"

I saw a Boss Mustang the first time yesterday. What does it have for power. If I'm correct it originally had a 427 CID in the 1970's. Is this correct?

Maybe, they'll use the same tire size.:)

70 Boss 429 used the 429 CID Nascar motor, back when you had to sell what you raced.

When I drove by my local ford dealership the other day that had a number of the new mustangs out front with the Marauder style rim on them. When I had spoke to the sales guy they said that they were having trouble getting the 18" bullitt style rims so the switched over to the Marauder rim.

I thought Boss Mustangs in the 70s had 302s. Thought 69 was the last of the big blocks. I suspect I'm about to get educated, however. :)

"Another point of interest is the new Mustang wheels, which we have not yet seen before."

That's an interesting statement in the article.

Maybe the price of our rims will go down because their not as rare as they used to be?

That is what I was hoping. "New" rims on a Mustang means cheap rims for our MMs

There was a Boss 302 and Boss 429 in 1969 and 1970.Beliece there was also a Boss 351in 1971 or 72 but not sure.

Great! The rims on our cars were one of the defining parts that seperate us from the rest of the CVs and GMs. Now we will look like a GM with a body kit and mustang rims.

I saw "our" rims on a brand new black Mustang GT at the Ford dealer in Aberdeen Md today. Looks good - but wrong.
