LV:
The headlight bucket R&R procedure is in the owner's manual...but I have a bigger question...where did you find an HID retro-fit kit for the Marauder and how much did it cost?

what am i missing here? do you mean some brighter bulbs like you can find at Pep Boys...or are you talking there is an electrical conversion for the new MM's that will allow us to use true HID headlights??? those typically run a few grand I thought. Or am I thinking Xenon conversion kits...
anyway, is there a mod that I'm missing???? please splain'

Well if they're not Sylvania Silverstars they're not really worth the money..........those "Blue Flame Specials" or whatever they are, are not DOT approved and not street legal............and also cheap(very low quality).................
I spoke with the Sylvania rep at the LA auto show in January and he said that there would be no 'real' HID conversion for the 9007 headlights(that's waht we have)............and yes, they're $500+

J-Mo, now now....I have a set a Silverstars....sitting in the garage in the cabinet. I personally did not like them after taking the advice and buying them. Now they make good $25 paper holders.
I did however find a set of high quality xenon's, yes, high quality ARE available at a price.....and being half blind, prefer the ultra white/blue 80-100 9007's over the DOT approved street legal off white, dim silverstars. As a bonus, they make the lenses appear violet during the day when the lites are off, and go well with my not so DOT approved street legal platinum running lamps.
That's the beauty of it, freedom of choice. Suggestions are great, but generalizing isn't.
BTW: Set of silverstars for sale......free.

You've got listed Xenon main lamps and
Titanium marker lamps - have you done anything with the fog lamps?
I find mine...well..useless. They may not be aimed properly, but turning off my mains in town or out, I get zero functionality out of them....

DR Caleb......Yeah the "fog" lights don't work with the headlights off(is that what you meant by 'main' lights?)..........the bulbs in the fog lights are regular H-1 bulbs and you can get high wattage ones from JC Whitney, I think LML modified his fogs by taking out the baffle inside..........with 130w bulbs and no baffles they should light up the road pretty well..................
And Cruz, don't forget our headlights are plastic not glass(the fogs are real glass) and they can't take high wattage over long periods of time...........I love messing with lights more than the next guy(my Toyota's got 55/100 lows and 130w highs with relays--it's like daylight) but I'm satisfied with my Silverstars......
Also I live in the big city so I can't get away with bright lites...........

 My fogs work with the headlites off. They just don't stay on with the key out of the ignition. And yes, xenon 100w H-1's with deflector removed.

Any longer than that I can't say.

I can turn my fog lights "on" with the head lights off.

OK, maybe I'M missing something now. Are you guys saying that, with the light knob in the "OFF" position, you can pull it out to the "Fog Light" position? Or are you saying that you can all have the fog lights on when the marker lights are on (but headlights off). I can only put them on when the marker lights or headlights are on. And I'm also pretty sure that the fogs turn off automatically when the high beams are selected. Is there anyway to "hot rod" the fogs so that they can be on without the marker lights or so they'll stay on with the high beams?
Did someone say something about "running lights"? Do you mean the low power daytime running lights that most cars have nowadays? I don't have those on my MM. I thought it was kind of strange, but I haven't asked about it. BTW, I can pull out the switch and turn on my fog lights all by themselves.
