Do you need a built motor for the twin screw or can we just replace the current blower on a stock motor

LOL, this is great!

Search the archives people, and you'll see similar comments back when the first S/Cs were being developed.

There is much humour in his post

It's all in good fun. I really could care less. :banana2:

Ironic that I've been talking with other Marauder owners who have recently built up their motors, and Zachs GP thread... Perfect timing!

From what I know of the differences,
I think the obvious is less drag and less heat.

It's true!...none of the tuners even knew, or figured it out!

It just goes to show, a little "outside of the box" thinking, not "playing by the rules", and a "little guy" can come up with better way to make power! Just pull off a little vacuum line (and don't forget to plug it!!), and you will gain all the power of your supercharger, instantly! That durn valve was holding us back! Hoodah thunk it?!! ;)

I tried that but it didn't make a noticeable difference. I guess when you've added a 1,000 horses, adding a few more just get lost in the mix.

That's awesome, using a Whipple now. BUT, that sucks for people who wish to buy used Trilogy's since it says it will be a bolt on replacement, and I highly doubt Jerry would sell the whole kit minus the Eaton to us N/A guys. :(

I make no promises regarding the info guys. I simply read this elsewhere and thought the members here would like to know.

Perhaps the Trilogys that are exhanged with be offered in a kit at a reduced price.

Found this and it maybe clears up some of the stuff out there

and

seems they are really all Lysholms

We should be able to unbolt the hEaton and bolt up the Whipple. At least thats the way it works for 03-04 Cobras. I hope Jerry will sell just the S/C with its required hardware to us Trilogy guys so we won't have to buy the whole kit.

RCSignals
06-09-2007, 10:50 PM
From what I understand there should be an 'upgrade' kit for those with the Eaton set up. Not sure if it will be just the S/C or S/C and inlet plate. Probably a few other necessary bits and bobs as well.

Maybe if Jerry is on he can comment
