Or would they even work?

I dont think they would look good. Stock MM wheels are the way to go IMO

I wouldn't put them on. Why do you want to go aftermarket rims anyway?

If you like em, do em. And if you want help with sizing/offset, just holler.

Personally, I do not like them. But, what does my, or anyone else's opinion matter???

If you like them, get them

Look at Rich's car. He, BY FAR, goes outside the box. ;)

Here is a Photoshop of the wheel on the front of my Marauder. I had trouble getting the wheel squared up on the rear so I gave up:help:

I am thinking about getting them as well. You can find them on eBay, they list them under the 05+ Mustangs (they have a couple of sets on eBay now), I am thinking about the Anthracite versions.

I got a picture I could work with.

How does this look? Still learning my Photoshop, so there are some flaws with the picture.

I think I like the anthracite better though..

If the Anthracite were BLACK instead of grey, they would be HAWWWT.

Jeremy, nice work.

I REALLY like those as an alternative style for us.

A couple notes, though. I would...

Get drilled/slotted rotors and pre-paint all the areas that would tarnish, like the hats and vents.

Paint\powdercoat the calipers. My preference would be black. Just don't let em be stock and ugly.

Braided steel brake lines.

The ONLY problem with that rim is how open it is. You'd definately want the more exposed parts looking their best behind this rim.

Otherwise, I really like it.

Go for it!

I think the chrome looks better than the anthracite.

Where can I get specs? I'm curious now.

Those are different, but nice! I think they are the best alternative I have seen for a more chic look. Like Rich has said, they are so open that you really have to do something with all the newly exposed parts!

Yeah, it needs a blower "chopped" on the hood! :D

FYI, you're getting good with photoshop.

;)

But back to the rims...

84SVO: The trick is going to be getting them in the correct offset. It's not a popularity poll around here. If you like the rims then you should pursue it. We all will be here to help you with the "fit / no fit" info.

Cheers!

John

Thanks for the props guys! My 11 yr daughter actually gave me a few pointers. The stuff kids are learning in school these days.

A local guy has a set of these 18X9 front 18X10 Deep Dish rears.$700 for wheels only. These are aftermarket Ford GT knockoffs, but they are near perfect. Just a thought, here's another pic.

Get the specs. I think that body Mustang has too low of an offset for us. I am eager to see about fit!!!

I've always thought the Marauder would look good with a set of deep dish Bullitt wheels on it like these:

:agree: , but with the centers painted black.
I don't think the offset would work, tires would stick out like steamrollers

Go for it but watch the off sets. I have plus 38 in the rear and that is an 18x9. You might be hard pressed to get a 10 inch back there. And the deep dish bullit wheels don't reall look that good. Leave them on Stangs.

I found this Foose look alike rim.
click for website. (http://www.incubusalloys.com/fwd_IA_705_shylock.htm)
And they even offer it in a 18*7.5 with a +45 offset, that means it will fit our Marauders.

I did a quick look at the GT-40 rims they do look sweet but they are the wrong offset for our cars. For a 9" wide rim you are going to need an offset of about 52-62 mm, which is going to be hard to find.

I don't know dog! Mmmmmmm? Just didn't work for me. A little pitchy on the front and back. I don't knooowwww. Your interpretation took away from the beauty of the original cut. What do you think Paula?
