This car is impeccably maintained and immaculate.

It Kelly Blue Books for $8,875 to $11,780.

The competition on Autotrader in my area starts at $12,800 for one with 34,000 miles, $11,700 for a GS w/ over 50,000 miles and $8,500 for one w/ 100,000 miles.

I was hoping to get the opinions of the members here to help me price it right.

I have had the dealership where I work looking for a taurus/sable with the dohc 3.0 for some time and we finally found a 04 sable ls with 2,879 miles that my father was able to buy for $12,029. The car was immaculate and all the reports we ran on it showed a "clean bill of health"

Yea man I don't think you'll be able to get much more than $13k for it. I mean, we have an '07 Taurus that's fully loaded for sale in my town with only 15k on it for $11k and it's perfect in every way, and it's an '07.

I put it on a local weekend lot for $10,600. Not a single call so I dropped it to $9895. I think it is a good deal at that price. Hopefully someone else will also think so.

If you can afford to be patient than do so. Try not to be in a rush cause than your more apt to drop your price. Just hang in there. Good luck.

Thanks.

I can hold on to it as long as it takes. There is no loan on it. I just want to price it realistically.

Sold the Sable today. I took $8,400 for it. I think they got a good deal.

There just aren't a lot of people out there clamoring for a Mercury Sable!
