Wow! That was easy. I'm registered for 3 attendees. Thanks Mary!

I just wanted ask everyone to register as soon as possible. We need to get head counts for the events ASAP to apply the appropriate funds and submit our reservation count 30 days in advance for the cruise. The CAM folks have been working very hard to make this a fun and successful event and we need your help to make this go as smooth as possible. We need to reach a guaranteed minimum to ensure exclusive use of the ship or we will have to share it with the general population. Registration and tickets sales will ensure we reach that goal and give us a good idea of how many members will be attending each event. I know everyone's situation is different so please register as soon as you are able.

A reminder that it is essential to also select which meals you will attend as headcount is critical, especially for the picnic and the cruise. Also, if you sign up and you don't show, we must pay anyway. I've sent out a few PMs/emails asking for clarification as I receive the registration information. We want all attending to enjoy themselves, while the Planning Team manages the logistics. Thanks!!

While a number of you are waiting until the last minute, we need headcounts ASAP for the luncheon cruise. You must select your menu choice ahead of time. We will not be able to accommodate any late registration. We want to make sure we have enough food for everyone at the picnic, enough goodie bags set up, t-shirts and name tags too.

The CAM planning team has done a great job in creating a wonderful event. We want the team to enjoy the event themselves so the more work that can be done ahead of time, the more fun they'll have too!!

Please register by this Sunday, July 15.

We should have extra t-shirts and goodie bags available for purchase once the event is over. I'll ask Chris to set aside a 2XL.

How do you raise our ugly heads to be counted, choose menu, etc.?

(raise)

:beer:You're all set, Dave. You did not select the luncheon cruise when you registered so we didn't have you down as attending the cruise portion of the event.

IMPORTANT!!!
If anyone else registered for MV5 but did not make it known that you're attending the luncheon cruise, you must speak up today and provide your food selection. We need a specific head count and menu selection before our final payment is made.

65 registered. I know a few more plan on coming but they haven't registered. We honestly need to wrap up registration so we're ordering enough food for the picnic. Our final cruise headcount and menu selection has to be in this week.

We should have at least 40 cars. We've ordered extra shirts to sell at MV5. E-Dubb can get his shirt! :D

You oughta be able to leave OC at 8 AM and arrive right in time for the picnic. 206 miles and 4 hours. You could probably do it in 3.5 hours if you really tried. ;) Just gotta drag your butt outta bed on Thursday.

Check your time getting to the US 50/301 exit at Stevensville/Romancoke. Last exit before the Chesapeake Bay Bridge. We have had several meets at "Big Bat's" sports bar & restaurant just off that exit in Stevensville. Also had a CAM meet at Kentmorr Restaurant and Marina about 5 miles south of that exit last July. That way you can see how long it will take to meet up with us when we meet there again .... sometime. :D

Mark,

The picnic starts at 12 Noon on Thursday, 2 August. The park is the Washington County Regional Park. About 1.8 miles from the hotel.

From the hotel at 1910 Dual Hwy (US 40), Hagerstown, MD. Go 0.6 miles on US 40 West to a right on Edgewood Road. Go 0.4 miles on Edgewood to a right onto Mt. Aetna Road. Follow Mt Aetna Road about 0.8 Miles to the park on the right. It is clearly marked with a sign. See ya there, buddy !!

Since I do have computer access here, I opened it up online until tomorrow night. We will still take walk up registration, but at this point, online or not, you may be too late for the luncheon cruise since our count had to be in last week.
