Other than removing the tail light lenses and painting them myself, does anyone know if any aftermarket "blackout" covers are available for the MM. Would I be correct in assuming that any that would fit the G.Marquis would also fit the MM?

mercman - I beleive you are correct, with reference to the tail light assemblies.

Grand Marquis tail lights will fit a Marauder, but they are quite different.
Any tail light covers for a Grand Marquis would likely be even less likely than ones for a Marauder

Painting them is easy. The cheapest ones FMC makes. IMHO.

I agree - easy enough that I might actually be doing this one myself.

After the 9 oak bookcases are finished, the contents and old furniture moved, bedroom painted, kitchen floor is replaced, kitchen painted, kitchen cabinets built, this is first on my list.

Well, after the chiropractor.

I should get to this by about Wednesday or Thurs. next week. :) Gotta find a place around here that sells Nite Shades.

Our tail lights are much darker than the Interceptor ones. Other than that they are the same. Personally I prefer the all-red we have

Paint them.....the covers look like crap and don't allow enough lite to pass thru....and will definately draw more attention from an LEO than the tint.

It's REALLY easy....just do it.
