Wondering if any of the blown Marauders were for sale around here? I'm planning on selling my C5 Z06 and getting into a family car with some balls. Right now I'm looking at Marauders, 300SRT, and CTS-V's. Anybody looking to sell?

It'd almost be easier to buy a MM and then get the supercharger of your choice installed and tuned up..... more fun too.

Seems pretty high in price. I've seen two on this board for less than 20k. No doubt I would do it myself before spending that much. But thanks for the link.

If you need a family car, forget CTS-V. Less internal space than a CIVIC!!!! Look it up.

I tried to sit in one at a car show... I couldn't sit up straight because my head was crammed against the headliner. My knees were also crammed against the dash. I couldn't believe how small that Caddy was.

I'm 6'0 and 210lbs, and didn't have any interior issues with the cts-v. I realize the Marauder is much more spacious.

I still kick myself for not buying one new. I had the chance at buying an 03' in early 2004 for only 23k.

I'm 6'3" and drove a CTS-V and found it comfortable actually.

I believe Trilogy #0005 is for sale.

Edit: Oops that was the one posted!

At anyrate I don't think you'll find many good examples of S/C Marauders under $20k, N/A perhaps but not S/C. They do pop up from time to time under that but not sure of any for sale now especially with that low of mileage.

Watch eBay. You'll be lucky to find one under 25K. I would not consider less.

Any more specifics and pics of your car?

I realize that under 20K is a good deal, but 29.9K is pretty high in my opinion.

NOT FOR THAT CAR!!!
I'd pay it... 8900 miles and like brand new withe a Trilogy?
Heck new without the s/c they were 30k and up.

Menace's car is a fantastic example of a PREMIUM supercharged Marauder.
You can't afford the premium? Look elswhere and don't buy that car.

The key word in your sentence is WERE 30k and up. You can now buy a very nice MM for 17k with low miles. I think I could duplicate or surpass with an extra 13k in play money. I'm not saying his isn't done right. As far as not being able to afford premium, I have well over 100k paid off in vehicles. That is not bragging, just pointing out that its about getting fair market value. Lord knows I'm dumb enough, I should have invested more with that money.

The advantage of buying an MM and then modding is you get the benefit of improvements and pick how you want it set up.

Really, if, I had it to do again, I'd still buy a stock or only slightly modded MM and choose/do mods myself. But then again, I enjoy the work and the process...

I'm still workin on mine and love every minute of it!

That's good. For the sake of the rest of us and car values, I hope he got his price.

I love the the SRT-8s, all of them. I believe the 6.1s have forged internals already, with a modest supercharger I am sure you can break into the low 11s.

I agree with you there, but...... I put alot of mod money into my TBSS and I would catch major flack modding two at the same time. I could pass it off if I buy one completed already.;)

I test drove another CTS-V and 300SRT today. I'm less impressed with the Caddies each time I drive them. I don't know if I can get past the feel of the tranny. I was highly impressed with the SRT though.

Properly built S/C Marauders (with forged engines, trannys', rear end, axles and more) will bring real good money down the road. Problem is, most of us that took the time and spent the money to build a car like this have no real interest in selling our cars. If so, big money will be asked and honestly worth it. A luxury, comfortable, four door sedan that can kick Z06's butt (no offense) is worth every penny:beer:. Good luck in finding your Marauder:up:

I know of someone who wants to sell their blown Marauder in the Chicago area. PM me if your interested and I'll call him up and ask what he wants for it. It's fully loaded from blower to headers, so it might be more than you want.
