Blower motor not working, fuse ok, relay ok, no power to motor as far as I can tell. I have had the climate control head replaced already once, I think it may be it again, but I dont know.
compressor works/cycles, and on defrost you can feel cold air, all internal blend doors seem to be working as well.
anybody have this problem?
It ruined a great 200 mile drive through the Missouri Ozarks today 85-90 and muggy driving in a black car with no air...

There is a blower control module that should have been replaced with the EATC.
It is located under the hood on the air box right behind the passenger side engine cylinder head.
See if you got a new one.
If not, take it back to your dealer and complain !!!

Could see the AC comp and clutch working, all metal hoses to ac were frosty cold, lights on AC head unit and NO air blowing.
I took a small hammer and tapped on the blower motor. Freed it up, has worked great since!
Same went for the power window on the pass side. One day just stopped ( Damn those ppl that think they have to SLAM the door closed ) Pulled lightly on the glass as someone was actuating the switch, has worked fine since.
Give it a try!

Mine is out of warranty and had same symptoms......About $30.00 and a PITA to get to!! See photo....BIG heat sync inside the box!!:argue:
BTW....The OEM's fail pretty often according to my parts guys.....You may be able to whack it with a screw driver and make it work??
Good Luck!!

Mine went a few weeks ago, one of the dealers has 23 on backorder. These should really be a recall or free replacement.

Sounds like the blower motor is on the way out.

Very easy to check the blower itself.....unplug it and run 12volts from the battery to one side of the plug and ground the other side!! Makes no difference which way as it will run WIDE OPEN in either direction if OK!!!
I still bet it is the BCM!!

I agree. My EATC just failed. $500 repair. Yikes. I had a 74 Lincoln Mark IV and a 91 Buick Park Avenue with EATC, both ran over 10 years and 100,000 miles with reliable A/C.

it was the controller on the firewall. $30. wasnt too bad to get to. the ford dealer had four in stock. admitted it was common, wasnt aware of needing to replace with main unit. is there a TSB on it?

They come together as a kit, or least were replaced together
on my Marauder as a kit.
