I'm thinking of selling my marauder. It has 97K miles on it. Primarily highway miles. What do you think a fair asking price is? Just looking for some ideas. I think I'll end up buying another one with lower miles.

According to Kelly Blue Book, 2003 Mercury Marauder with NO options and 97,000 miles is retail valued at $13,340 (Excellent condition) Private Party value for same is $11,855 Excellent, $10,945 Good, and $9,780 Fair condition.

Your MM shows up at about 35,000 miles over the estimated 62,000 for the car so the value is lower than some others.

Personally, I think $13.3K is too low 'cause I wouldn't part with mine for almost twice that amount. :D

Those book values are based on auction results. There aren't a lot of Marauders through those auctions, so they make estimates. I'd guess they are estimating using Grand Marquis values for interpretation.
A 2003 Marauder with NO options isn't missing too much!
