I have ordered the Ford Racing Trans Cooler. I am planning on mounting it in the location Kenny Brown did.

Does anyone have any pics of this setup?

Also, where is everyone tapping into their stock lines at....yes, I know it is after the OEM Cooler...but where at? Got pics?

Run your MM for a few minutes. The colder tranny line is the return. I have some pics but it's hard to see.

The line on the bottom w/ the writing on it comes from the additional cooler.

This is the line that goes into the aftermarket cooler.

I was able to remove the rubber return line from the stock cooler, connect that to the aftermarket cooler then run a new line back to the hard return line.

Fastblackmerc,
How did you get the oem return line off the oem cooler and secure the new
line to it---it's a tight area???
Then where exactly did you run the lines from the add on cooler?
How did you keep them from touching metal surfaces and secure them?
Pics?

Thanks,
Warren

See above for the pics.

There are rubber hoses that connect the OEM cooler to the trans lines (hard lines). These connections are easily seen from above. Look near the AC compressor (pic #1 above).

The OEM cooler lines from the OEM cooler to the trans linee are rubber hoses, loosen the clamp at the line, pull off the hose then route it to the aftermarket cooler. Route the other aftermarket cooler line to the line you just removed the rubber hose from. There is a space to the right of the radiator where you can fit both lines thru. I didn't do anything to insulate the lives since they don't move. I've had my cooler installed for 3 years now and there are no wear marks on the lines. Use nylon tie straps to secure the lines if necessary.
