4:10 tune w/o 4:10's

:wave: Hello Everyone, I'll get right to the question. :o Can I run my (93 octane) SCTtune that's set up for 4:10's in my car, if I have NOT installed the 4:10's yet? :confused: The install is a week away, but my SCTtune is on my work bench calling me to put her in! I'm hoping that the only affect is the speedo accuracy. Shift points? What you guys think? ALOHA :burnout:

I believe the 4.10 tune only compensates the speedo reading to account for the different gearing. If you run it without the 4.10's installed your speedo will be off.

Aren't shift points based in part on speed? So the shift points, and TCC lockup, WILL be off with the wrong tune, I think.

my car had shifted funny with gears installed with no tune so im sure its the opposite

The car wont shift or drive correctly. A Week isnt so bad,
