How about; when your battery does not charge, voltmeter shows flucations from 10-14v, lights go dim, a/c fan blows slow, battery light comes on, etc.

Your local flaps should be able to give you a charging system test also.

By checking your output from the alternator at a given rpm, it should be a given voltage. (not at home right now or I would give you rpm and volts)

You might try the mod that mounts the alternator backwards:D It will make your smile permanent. Good luck with your alternator. Dennis:beer:
