I USED to go to Paul Cerame LM out in Florissant, about 45 from where you'll be at. But... their SM sucks. I go to Dave Sinclair out in St. Peters, probably be a good hour drive (30-40 miles) from where you're at.

Have a safe trip, John, let us know if you need anything along your route, and when you arrive home again.

Errr...I have to ask this, John, because I am worried...

Ummm...Who did you designate as our official greeter in your absence, John?

One more time, I didn't catch that...

I mean...If you are not available, John, who else will be here to welcome all our new screen names? Who else can be our offical greeter, and dispensing our "e-Valium" so well?

Hey, wait just a damn minute now...Is this vacation authorized by Logan?

Did you properly notify the Admin in a timely manner that you were not going to be available?

Have you arranged a replacement for your services?

Do we have your "numbers" on file, in the event we have an unsolvable problem?

Ya know...Ya can't just slip out the side door when y'all want too...Your J O B is an important element of this here web site...Y'all can't just "vacation" when y'all want...

I mean...Who is going to welcome all our newbies in your absence? I can't...do...that...stuff...Li ke be nice an all with those dumb questions an stuff...I can't do that...

Man-oh-man...There is gonna be a beef on this...I just know it.

Well...Rock on, John, have a safe trip.

We'll deal with the beefs until you get back...Put them on hold, eh?

I nominate Mac as "official greeter" in John's absence.

Anyone want to second that?

Anyone want to second that? Just wait one minute. I am in Collinsville , IL. I may not be home but I sure have internet accses and wouldn't miss my assignment for more than a day. Just had my MM serviced at Premier L/M in Collinsville. Thet treated me very well and the oil and filter change was only$ 25.87 with tax. The MM got excellent mileage on the 1100 mile trip. It will probably take a week to get the grin off my face. RC this is for you:shot:

Had a wonderful trip. Over 2,000 miles. I didn't see one other MM on my trip. Just finished washing and waxing (Zaino), the MM looks great. The MM performed well getting an average of 24 MPG. It was hard to keep her under 85 MPH. Can't get the smile off my face.:D

24 MPG is some good fuel management, there.

Welcome home John, I'm glad it was a safe and pleasing trip.

As I recall it, the only way my first MM (before mods) could get 24 MPG, was to cruise at 95 MPH. Anything you wish to tell us?

BTW, I told everyone that wanted to sign up while you were gone, to come back next week...

Mac - Kept it at a steady 2200 RPM's approx 75MPH (cruise control). Got the best mileage at that RPM . Got between 22 - 26 MPG.:D
