Central Ohio Guys..... lets meet up at the Flying J on Rt 36 on the 8th, at 3:30.

Reason being that the Delaware guys would be coming across 36 and the rest stop is south of 36.

Close! I was thinking of her white knuckle ride on the back roads, between the wineries, with her staring out the side window, all the while holding onto the grab handle. Now that's the video that I'd like to see! Tell her that we said "Hi"

Although, the trip would be a lot shorter coming straight to Ontario, instead of Akron first.

At this point he is in ICU still awaiting to get a room that is all I know, family only can see him now.

They worked! I'm alive and well! After nine days in the hospital, the Dr. informed me at discharge, that in 26 yrs, I was the second patient that he has seen survive the amount of blood clots that I had. I'm glad that he waited till then to tell me that! All the while, I was wondering why I'm in ICU with all of these seriously ill people. And here I am, calling ahead from one hospital's ER to another's ICU, confirming my bed reservation, and the nurse can't believe that I'm the patient about to arrive. It set the tone for my stay!:D After 5+ days, they decided that the blood thinners weren't enough to do the job. A cardiologist from Cleveland Clinic came in and put the catheter in and administered the clot busting drug, TPA, made me lie still for 8 hours, till he returned and checked me over and declared one clot gone and the other 70% gone, installed the ICV filter mod, and sent me back to my room. I was allowed out of bed 12 hours after TPA was first administered. 5:30, the next morning, I'm out wandering the coronary care unit in search of a cup of coffee. After two days of monitoring my blood thinner levels, they finally released me with no restrictions, other than no long car or plane rides, without getting up and walking around every couple hours. Stopped on the way home for the most delicious, mouth watering Reuben. Went out later that evening to the local pub for some wings, (and a Coke!)

And a special Thanks to my ever present and hard working Guardian Angels, whom I've really given a workout in the last five years, but they are always on the job, looking over me and saving my life. Also to maraudergirl, whose companionship and help and quiet "us" time during this trying time has helped me weather another crisis in my life, and for driving my MM home from the hospital. And like an awards show, I could go on and on thanking the many people, (especially Jesus Christ, my Lord and saviour...all the way down the the man who parked my MM in my garage!:D)
