All right..it's time. I purchased my MM on 4-14-03. I sent Kenny Brown a deposit for his "S" package on 4-21-03. I am finally scheduled for the work to begin tomorrow 7-7-03. I'm nervous, anxious, and excited. I'll make the 3 hour drive to his shop in the morning, and catch a $60 Southwest flight home in the afternoon.... Tell me, guys, what am I in store for? What do I do in the mean time? I know the next 4 weeks will seem like YEARS. I'd like some thoughts from those of you who have had this work done......

You need to contact me ASAP. I'm in Chicago too, Mount Greenwood specific and I have the KBM-S #1x, and I often travel between Chicago and Indy. I'll be driving down there again Wednesday, July 16th. Does this fit with your schedule?

You don't need to do any flying, you have options, K? The KB network is wide, flexible, and available. I'll be in my office tomorrow, Monday, July 7, 2003, until 2 PM. Call me at 312.745.5207. I'm SergntMac@aol.com too.

Jeeze...Hope you see this before you take off...

WOW, thanks for the offer. I had things in place already for the drop-off. I really appreciate it though. Maybe in 4-6 weeks when it's ready, I'll take you up on it. There was a silver MM that just finished getting the "S" treatment, for someone in the Chicago area. It's #15. Mine is #16 and I heard that 2 more are lined up after me. I plan to show up for some chicken this Sunday, and to meet some of you, of course I'll be driving my beater.....

It was 10 "signature" editions I think.
(Does Mac's "1X make for 11?)

Nope..."Patches, the ragdoll" doesn't count. She's not a production car, only experimental.
