Anyone ever have any problems related to this? Got a check engine light. Found this code. Cleared code, drove car & datalogged, found nothing wrong. Inspected FRPS harness connector & pins. Looked OK. Could not follow diagnostic flow chart - did not have DVOM at remote location.

Have you done anything at all with your MAF or made any air intake changes, that can trip the code you mentioned, if the sensor is leaking you may be able to smell fuel at the fuel rail where sensor is located.

Car is all stock.

You might want to check pressure at fuel rail, should be 30 psi at idle and have a momentary spike when revving engine and drop back to 30 psi. If your car is running perfectly and you keep getting the code I would replace the sensor.

Could be a flaky fuel pump or your fuel filter might need replacing....

P0190 refers to a VREF problem. So, either a wiring probem, sensor problem, or ECM problem. Thanks.

I friend of mine had that code on his 04 Cobra, it ended up being one of his fuel pumps. Whenever the pumps switched or was under load and required both pumps to work the motor would fall on it's face and fuel pressure would drop immediatly to ~10psi. On a Marauder with one fuel pump it would most likely be a problem with the sensor, otherwise the car won't run.

Logged fuel pressure and voltage and they were normal. Could not reproduce the problem. Thanks for sharing this info though. Would like to hear outcomes of any other P0190 occurrences.

Thank you! I have this same diagnostic routine in the Ford manual. Problem must occur twice to set a MIL. Suspect fuel rail pressure sensor glitched. Car is remote from me, thus I am unable to perform diagnostic routine. Datalogs show normal. Spare FRPS is on the way should I need it.

Thanks again.
