In northbound traffic on I-95 in Delaware heading into the tolls just a bit before the 95-495/295 split. Delaware plates, interceptor badge. Looks like front Merc emblem was simply removed from the grill...

I went through that area yesterday to and from New Jersey on I-95, Delaware Memorial Bridge, and the NJ Turnpike. :D
But I was in the wife's '06 Ford Freestyle and you probably didn't even notice. I saw no MMs at all in nearly 500 miles on the east coast's busiest highway. :(

I ***think*** the rear hockey-emblem was modified with a godshead insert - I could be wrong about the front. Driver was alone, dark hair, cell-phone totally glued-to-ear entire way into toll....
Bluerauder - didn't notice the Blue glow eminating from the inside of that that freestyle;)
Was on the susquehanna bridge behind a SUV doing 85-90 and the traffic came to a sudden halt.... I was amazed at how the MM brakes just locked-down and I came to a total stop within a heartbeat or two.... thank God there was a Volvo behind me - that guy definately had to stand on his brake; back in April I was in my '98 GM and an older couple ran a red - I totalled their toyota in a broadside and drove home (50 miles) with some front-end "cosmetic issues". The GM brakes/tires are not remotely in the same league (totally different ..mushy.. feeling) - for just a moment I thought I was gonna rear-end that guy on the bridge.
I picked up my '04 MM end of May and I am totally in love with my new Girlfriend. The amazing thing is that after this weekends NY-to-DC-to-NY trip, (mostly in the 80-90mph range) for God-knows-what reason, it feels like this car drives even better than before - tranny is shifting cleaner, acceleration is more pronounced ...I don't get it.... (car had 26,300 from dealer - i'm now at 28K). frikin' incredible machine.... did I blow out some carbon buildup or somethin'?!?
