Zack I am going and am planning on leaving on Tuesday. I dont know about the route we are going to take yet but am interested in meeting up with the others if it will work out. It would be great if the Cam guys could post a list of who is going to MMV and where they are located so it would be easier to hookup with them.

Im still trying to figure out if ANYONE is going. We're going to have a good turnout. Looking forward to seeing you and Becky again.

I encourage everyone to register as soon as possible so we can order enough t-shirts, goodie bags, etc., and get the headcounts necessary for the meals, especially the picnic. We certainly want to have enough food available, so raise your hand and register.

Here's the poll of those indicating that they would be coming to MV V. It is also listed by distance (one way) to travel.

Wife and I were planning on a Wednesday afternoon/evening leave out of SE Cleveland. Could possibly be earlier if I sneak out of work earlier.

Could possibly hook up at my place if you need a quick pit stop (20 min detour) (Turnpike 80E to 480-E to Twinsburg, OH) then jump right back on I480 to Turnpike or I can catch you at I-80/I480E interchange.

We'll see when time gets closer.

That interchange at 480 and 80 would be the spot for a group to meet?

Sorry that you won't be able to make it to MV V. Was looking forward to seeing you run at Mason-Dixon again. It has been awhile. Good luck at getting your MM back on the road in good condition. Maybe we'll meet up again at one of the regional events.

Let's take a stab at this.....

What time would we like to arrive in Hagerstown, possibly based on, St. Louis and Columbus drivers meet in New Stanton, PA?

The attached chart is based on Google calcs (nowhere near our times;)).

I was thinking option 4 if we all would like to meet up at Streetsboro, then New Staton, what do you guys think?
Daily03, Motorhead350, 1stMerc, FastMerc, Ken, JohnKuhn, others?

Jerry,

I am taking a little different route. I will drop off of I-70 to I-79 to I-68 to I-70. When I get back on I-70 it will only be 31 miles out of Hagerstown. It is a easier route to travel for me.
We plan on leaving Wednesday morning around 8:30 and being there around 3:00.
Thanks for thinking of us.

I-79 to I-68 to I-70

Dale's suggestion is an excellent drive in the Marauder. We have used it several times heading west. It has less traffic (picks up a little around Morgantown and Cumberland) and road curves nicely with the mountainous scenery. It is a very enjoyable ride. Have fun Dale!! Don't race any ricers. ;)

And the drive through Sideling Hill Cut is stunning !! Nice view and time warp through millions of years of geology of mountain making right there to see.

Jerry,

That's cool with me. My GPS and Mapsource had me dropping off I-70 to I-79 to I-68 into Hagerstown. We can meet at the I-70/79 junction if you like or still meet at New Stanton then double back to it, if the group likes.

Dom, Ken and Mark, lets meet at I-80 rest stop @11:40A Wed. It is at mile marker 197. If any of you would like to meet up at my house, I will be departing ~ 11:17A. I'm located around the corner from the green marker.

My cell: See PM
FRS channel 5, I have one extra FRS radio (bring AA batteries).
CB channel 19.

Below is updated link for my travel plans. You can move the green marker to your house and calculate your time to hit exit 197 @ 11:40A.

http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&hl=en&geocode=&saddr=Liberty+Rd+%4041.341500, +-81.418940&daddr=Unknown+road+%4041.24178 0,+-81.177480+to:40.188316,-80.24826+to:1910+Dual+Highway, +Hagerstown,+MD+21740&mrcr=1,2&mrsp=2&sz=10&mra=dpe&sll=40.164182,-80.230408&sspn=0.94556,1.561432&ie=UTF8&ll=40.162083,-79.980469&spn=3.782085,6.245728&z=8&om=1

1stMerc (Waymon), it will take us 1hr 55min (per Google) to hit I-70 in PA (Note: NOT Stanton, PA). Send me a PM with your cell phone number if you don't mind.

It is quicker if you come down the PA turnpike to Bedford, Pa. and then catch I-70 from there. But, since you are meeting Weymon out side of Washington, PA. nevermind. Also the PA turnpike is a nice road since they completed construction though I-68 through WV and Maryland has much prettier scenery. Watch for State Troopers in the Friendship town area on I-68. and going through Cumberland, MD. See you all on Wed. evening.

One more thing be careful of wildlife crossing I-68.
