Since my '04 Sport has the same radio as the MM I thought you people might be able to answer this.

This afternoon I started me car, then turned on my cell phone. I then turned on my hands free speaker phone device which I clip to my sunvisor. The phone powered up first. As the speakerphone powers up it takes a few seconds to "talk" to the cell phone so they can conect. In that short amount of time, I turned the radio on. Instead of music, the display read No Phone, like it was trying to connect with my cell. Does this mean the radio has Bluetooth technology ? I could not find any info in the owner's manual on this. If we do not have Bluetooth capabilty, is it possible Ford uses this same radio in another model that does offer Bluetooth. Otherwise why would the radio display No Phone ?

Did the '04 sport have the same radio as the '04 Marauder?
I know the '03 Sport did not.

Interesting. I thought the '04 sports used the same radio as the '03 Sports

From what I see here in members photos, the radio in the MM is the same as mine. In fact I just recently posted a question about a CD changer function and got the right answer. Which was a big help to me.

I can't speak for the '04 because I'm not familiar with it, but I know the '03 LXSport radio is not the same as what was used in the '03 Marauder. Yes it looks very much the same, and it controls the CD changer the same, but it's a different unit.

It could well be Ford used the same radio unit in both for '04.

Wanted to add, apparently the radio used in the Town Car, is phone enabled.

You may have discovered another of the 'secret' features

I also noticed this. Try pressing the mute button while the radio is off. That's what makes it say "No Phone". Also, notice that there is a picture of a phone on the mute button, so it's not exactly a "secret" feature. I never knew what this was for. Does anyone know?

that button/feature is simply to mute quickly the radio when you are using a cell phone.

I think PhastPhil is referring to a system that would allow hands free use through the radio
